It’s A Schtick Free Wednesday…

We’re going light on the predictions for this evening’s slate, and it has little to do with inaccuracy and irrelevance:

Drexel at William & Mary: Tribe wins! Tribe wins!

ODU at James Madison: Good Lord, this is the trap game of all trap games. So much so that it can’t be a trap game. Monarchs prevail.

Towson at Hofstra: The Pride crank it up another notch at home, providing confidence to a team that may only be lacking confidence. Big win here.

VCU at Nor’Easter: This one bears close scrutiny. Mathews is not an easy place to play and VCU is uncomfortable, despite what anyone says. A big VCU win tells as much as a Nor’easter win, as it relates to March 8. I like VCU on the road.

Georgia State at UNCW: I smell some overconfidence giving The Dub an early test. The game is tied at the half and The Dub runs away in the second half. Seniors, you know.

Delaware at Mason: The Hens are better than people are thinking. Mason wins, but it will be closer than you think.

Later today: Some unrelated math, some questions, and some advice.

  1. You don’t have to tell Mason fans that it’ll be closer than we think…we’re used to having our souls ripped from our bodies every friggin’ game…

GO MASON. (Please don’t screw it up tonight.)

P.S.: I’d love to see someone else in there tonight starting besides Smith and Birdsong…maybe they’re better bench players…(Long and Fleming? Why not?)
