Mason Adds To Unique Winning Streak: George Mason improved to 9-3 this season with a 72-64 victory over Liberty on Sunday. The victory gave the Patriots a 3-2 mark in December, which added to an impressive streak. Since November, 2002, Mason has had at least a .500 record in every month except one (February 2007) in which they have played more than one game. The streak covers a span of 25 months

CAA In Non-Conference Play:  The CAA has posted a 61-65 (.484) record in non-conference action through the first month of the season. The league has combined for an impressive 38-13 mark at home and is a solid 9-8 on neutral courts, but is 14-44 on the road. Twenty-two losses have come against squads from the ACC, Big East, Big Ten and SEC and nine were against teams in the Top 25.

  1. Ugh, 14-44 noncon on the road. Only VCU and Mason cracking the top 100 in RPI. ODU is a better team than their RPI shows, but it could be a tough year come selection Sunday.
